استاندارد سازمان بين المللي الكتروتكنيك (iec )

سازمان IEC كه در سال 1906 با همت دانشمندان، متخصصان و مجامع الكتروتكنيك كشورهاي مختلف تأسيس شده است، وظيفه تدوين و انتشار استانداردهاي بين المللي IEC در حوزه گسترده برق و الكترونيك و زمينه هاي مرتبط را بر عهده دارد .

 

مقر اين سازمان تا سال 1948 در شهر لندن بود كه از آن سال به بعد به شهر ژنو در كشور سوئيس منتقل شد. با توجه به روند جهاني ايجاد هماهنگي در استانداردهاي ملي كشورهاي مختلف و پذيرش هرچه بيشتر استانداردهاي بين المللي از جمله IEC به عنوان پايه استانداردهاي ملي و مبناي فعاليتهاي ارزيابي انطباق و گواهي محصولات برقي والكترونيكي به منظور تسهيل تجارت بين المللي، درشرايط حاضر بيشترين تلاش كشورها مصروف مشاركت فعال درمراحل تدوين استانداردهاي بين المللي مي شود . بدين لحاظ اكثر استانداردهاي ملي كشورهاي مختلف هم اينك به طور فزاينده اي براساس و معادل با استانداردهاي IEC مي باشند.

 

سازمان IEC هم اكنون داراي 81 كميته ملي عضو (اصلي و وابسطه) از كشورهاي مختلف مي باشد و با احتساب 81 كشور در حال توسعه اي كه هنوز به عضويت اين سازمان در نيامده اند ولي با آن در ارتباط مي باشند، تعداد كشورهاي عضو و مرتبط آن به 162مي رسد. تعداد 174 كميته فني و فرعي جهت پيشبرد فعاليتهاي فني تدوين استانداردهاي بين المللي IEC تشكيل شده است كه تعداد مدارك استانداردي تدوين شده توسط اين كميته ها تا پايان سال 2009 در مجموع به 6146 عنوان بالغ شده است كه شامل 5520 استاندارد بين المللي و 207 مشخصات فني و 351 گزارش فني است.
